D.O.C. held its annual picnic Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Sylvan Lake Community Center. The 70 present were primarily from the host chapter and from Pontiac-Waterford. After brats, hamburgs, salads and drinks, Dave Montera stepped in to organize a show that included the 13 members of PW, directed by Mike Frye, singing "I Don't Know Why" and "Saints." D.O.C. sang two songs. Then quartets got the opportunity, including Two Newbies and Two Oldies (Pat Hefner, Austin Summer, Charlie Perry, and John Cowlishaw) singing a well-received "Little White House in the Glen," Evenin' Gentlemen, Coda Honor, and Limited Frydition. The choruses joined for "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." Mike Frye taught a tag - "Close your eyes, in sleep," and the evening ended with "Irish Parting Prayer" and "Keep the Whole World Singing."
